The President, Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (MAJAN), Comrade Ray Ugochukwu, has commended the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mr Bello koko
on the current promotion of Chief Ibrahim Nasiru, to the position of General Manager.
Ugochukwu made this known in a press statement issued yesterday on MAJAN members platform.
According to him, the appointment of Chief Nasiru as General Manager, Corporate & Strategic Communications of NPA is a laudable initiative.
The MAJAN President stated emphatically that Chief Nasiru has the expertise to manage the public relations unit of NPA efficiently.
Also, he expressed optimism that the appointment will enhance rubost working synergy between the authority and the maritime media.
