Powerful Pen Media Chapel concludes plan for special Congress

The Powerful Pen Media Chapel, of Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (MAJAN), is putting measures in place to hold a special Congress in Lagos.
The news reaching our platform revealed that arrangements are on top gear by the Association to ensure a well- organised Congress.
Addressing Journalists in Lagos, the President of MAJAN, Comrade Ray Ugochukwu, explained that the Congress is scheduled for Thursday, January 14, 2021, with the theme, ‘Apapa Traffic And Skyrocketing Inflation in the Country ; Effects On Port Operations And The Maritime Industry”.
The MAJAN President said, “This Congress is a special one because it will present a good platform to discuss vital issues that affected the maritime sector in 2020.”
He revealed, “Highly experienced and respected stakeholders in the industry have been carefully selected as Special Guests, to speak on this important topic’.
According to him, the Congress will also be a useful platform for stakeholders to air their views on effect of government policies on the sector and advise government on the way forward.
His words, “The Powerful Pen Media Chapel is an affiliate of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State chapter. The Chapel was formally inaugurated in 2019. Also, the Powerful Pen Newspaper is a publication of this Chapel, owned by MAJAN”
