The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Bauchi/Gombe Command, of Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Bello Mohammed Jibo, he said that inter-agency collaboration is quite imperative for anti-smuggling drive.
He made this known during his visit to security agencies in the State.
The visit was in continuation of the familiarisation tour embarked upon by Comptroller Jibo and his men.
His entourage visited relevant Federal Government security agencies in the state, which include 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi, Nigerian Army Armoured Corps and Nigeria security and Civil Defense Corps, Bauchi.
During the tour, Comptroller Jibo solicited for more cooperation to sustain the already established cordial relationship between his Command and the agencies.
He praised the Military Command, in view of two interceptions of un-customs goods handed over to his Command within a month of his resumption in office.
Commanding officers of the agencies promised to ensure that more will be done to smoothen the relationship, as they prayed for productive and prosperous stay in their assignment.
The visit ended with a group photograph taken immediately after signing of the visitors’ book, at each of the agencies.
