The recent trend of events at the headquarters of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), has shown that the group is blazing the trail in freight forwarding sub-sector in Nigeria.
NAGAFF last Friday endorsed eight young Nigerians as its brand ambassadors.
The endorsement came only few days after NAGAFF elaborately celebrated its political party,NNPP, declaring its position as a responsible partner to government in economic growth and development.
Speaking at the endorsement ceremony in Lagos, the Founder of NAGAFF, Dr Boniface Aniebonam explained, “We are empowering these young ones for them to become resourceful in the society.
He added, “Everywhere you go, you are now Ambassadors of NAGAFF”.
Aniebonam spoke further, “We are ready to support you in whatever you want to do. NAGAFF is committed to building capacity for young ones to be productive
“We are interested in young ones and empowering them has always being in our minds at NAGAFF. It gives us happiness to see young freight forwarders grow.
“Some of these young people you are looking at are musicians and entertainers, but they are still freight forwarders.
“In reality, you can study any course in the University and still work as a freight forwarder. Today, we have many graduates, who are into freight forwarding and they are doing well”.
In the same vein, the National Vice President of NAGAFF, Dr Simeon urged the new Ambassadors to represent the association well and be of good behaviour.
He warned that any misconduct could prompt withdrawal of the ambassadorship by NAGAFF.
