Seme Customs under DC Wada makes impressive performance

The Seme Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), under the watch of DC Chedi Dalha Wada, as the Area Controller has made impressive performance within a short period of his assumption in office.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Command, Hussaini Abdullahi disclosed that the Command seized 409.000grams of Tramadol tablets, as well as 9,400ml of Amphytamine syrup worth over N4.7million in Duty Paid Value (DPV).
According to him, the pharmaceutical products were intercepted by the anti-smuggling unit of the Command along Elejah-mowo axis.
That was not all. The Command’s PRO also revealed that DC Wada and his team seized 275 bags of rice, 12 sacks of used clothings, 9,225 litres of petrol, 11 Jerrycans of vegetable oil, 132 cartons of poultry products, textile materials, one sack of shoes, three sacks of hand-bags, 326 cream, 10 sacks of Egusi, one sack of stock-fish and 30 cartons of Choko drinks, with DPV of over N19.4million, within three weeks.
He said, “The Area Controller emphasized that the aforementioned seizures is a strong message to smugglers and their accomplices.
“The Area Controller has promised to sustain the current tempo of anti-smuggling achievements of the Command, to enhance national development”.
