Change of baton: DC Wada takes over Seme Command
.Calls for greater stakeholders’ synergy

The new Customs Area Controller (CAC), Seme Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Deputy Comptroller Chedi Dalha Wada, has called for greater stakeholders’ synergy and cooperation of all officers, to ensure that the Command carry out its statutory functions effectively.
DC Wade said this while taking over leadership of the Command from the former CAC, Comptroller Mohammed Uba.
In a press statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Command, Mr Hussaini Abdullahi, he expressed his readiness to implement the fiscal policies of government for optimal economic growth and development.
Wada, who is on Acting capacity commended the leadership prowess of the ex-CAC. He promised to consolidate on his achievements and to improve on the core mandates of revenue generation, trade facilitation, as well as suppression of smuggling to the barest minimum.
According to DC Wada, Seme Command under his supervision will focus always on improving service delivery and working in collaboration with other sister security agencies for greater efficiency.
