Comptroller Mohammed Uba, the out-going Customs Area Controller (CAC), Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘A’, of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), formally handed over the Unit to the new CAC, Comptroller Mohammed Aliyu, coming from Seme Area Command.
The handing over exercise took place yesterday at FOU, Ikeja, Lagos, where Comptroller Uba, who is taking over the mantle of leadership, as the new CAC of Seme, urged officers to give Comptroller Aliyu needed support to build on the achievements recorded by the Unit.
He commended the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Ali Hameed and his Management team on their efforts in reforming the Service.
In his response, Comptroller Aliyu, the new CAC, promised to carry out his duties at FOU Zone ‘A’ effectively, calling on all officers to work as a team to move the Service forward.
